Baked Ziti with Cheese

Ziti pasta, layered with a mix of shredded off the block Monterey Jack and extra sharp Cheddar cheeses, salted butter, finished with egg with whole milk and topped with additional cheese and baked.

Baked Ziti with Cheese

A lot of folks enjoy a baked ziti, made with tiny beef and sausage meatballs in a tomato-based sauce with cheeses with ziti noodles. It's a bit of a labor of love because it's a little time consuming, so that I even made a quicker, easier stovetop, skillet version that provides a very similar taste.

Most folks also enjoy a good homemade macaroni and cheese typically made with elbow macaroni and I've got several versions available on the website.

I took some of the basic aspects of my own mac and cheese recipes and used ziti noodles instead of classic elbows for a little bit of a change!

Million Dollar Baked Spaghetti

A rich baked spaghetti that includes spaghetti noodles mixed with sour cream, cottage cheese, eggs and cheese, topped with a meat sauce and finished with a layer of Cheddar, mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.

Million Dollar Baked Spaghetti

Million Dollar Spaghetti is another one of those baked casseroles that has been around for a long time, although, it's gotten some recent viral attention on TikTok in the last year.

Like I said in a previous post, with social media, all things old become new again!

Although I am not a TikTok user, or even a fan, I have to admit it is kinda cool to see old recipes getting a revival with some younger folks.

I mean, how can you not love something that has a stack of pepperoni on top, and while it may look like a pizza, there's pasta under there, another favorite of mine.

Yum, yum y'all!

I've been trying to get a new post up forever, so not a lot of chat today... some of you who are happening across this blog will be happy about that I'm sure! {I've seen those memes!}

Cold Corn Dip

If y'all have been hanging around here any length of time, you pretty much know that any kind of dip - from that good old fashioned 7 layer dip that's been around forever, to my more delectable hot crab dip (and everything in between) - are party favorites for me. Though I do actually favor hot dips over cold, I have to say that this corn dip, served cold, is downright delicious and even a tiny bit addictive!

Hot Pintos and Cheese Dip (Texas Trash)

There's a dip that's being passed around Facebook called Texas Trash Warm Bean Dip. I have no idea why it has that name, but it passed by my timeline so many times that I decided to give it a whirl. I mean if you love beans, and especially refried beans and bean dips, how can you lose with beans and cheese, right?

Cheesy Warm Vidalia Onion Dip

Cheesy Warm Vidalia Onion Dip
A hot dip made with pepper jack cheese, mayonnaise and sweet Vidalia onions, topped with more cheese, buttery Ritz cracker crumbs and garnished with bacon.

Cheesy Warm Vidalia Onion Dip

You've probably noticed that Vidalia onions are a little smaller now than they were earlier in the season, an indication that the season is winding down and will soon be over until next spring.

Garlic Cheddar Drop Biscuits

Since I still had some baking mix in the pantry, leftover from my annual holiday sausage cheese balls, I thought it'd be a good time to use some to publish these drop biscuits with garlic and cheese. These yummy biscuits were made famous by Red Lobster restaurant's Cheddar Bay Biscuit of course, and the multitude of copycat recipes that resulted from it. This is the copycat version that I ended up with after a few trials.

Cheddar Bacon Dip

Referred to by some tailgaters as "crack dip" because they find it irresistible, this sour cream and mayonnaise dip, made with Ranch dressing mix, shredded cheddar and bacon, is a sure winner.

Cheddar Bacon Dip

Now y'all know I love my my dips, though I'm probably a bit more endeared to hot dips than I am cold ones, but with The Big Game coming up, I thought it'd be nice to get this favorite up on the site.

Grilled Cheesy Barbecue Chicken

This is a such a quick, easy and super tasty meal that's really perfect for any weeknight. Known across the net as a copycat of Chili's Monterey Chicken, it's really nothing more than a simple boneless, skinless chicken breast that is brushed with barbecue sauce, topped with bacon, a little shredded cheese and finished with a garnish of fresh chopped tomato and sliced green onion. Cheesy, smothered and covered y'all. Not a thing wrong with that!
