Air Fryer Lemon Herb Chicken Wings

I love the combination of lemon and herbs with chicken, certainly one of my top favorites for a roasted chicken, so I thought, why not wings?

Afterall, as I write this it's football season and wings are just another football staple now, aren't they?

And let me tell you that if you haven't tried wings in your air fryer you are missing out!

The Cajun and I eat wings often and not just because there's a football game or party going on, although both of those times are common for sure! Our local Winn Dixie even has a great wing bar and we've visited that for a bucket of wings a few times.

As to my own recipes, you'll sometimes see that when I share a recipe for wings, the whole wing is in play and I've not separated my wings into drums and flats at all. I mean, it's just the two of us most of the time and frankly that's just another step.

Air Fryer Naked Chicken Wings

I love wings. Love them!

They are one of our top favorite foods for football gatherings, movie watching or really anytime snacking.

I used to do them most of the time in the oven and still do occasionally but they are ideal and so easy in the air fryer.

Now... first a disclosure because it's important and it matters.

Wings. I love, love, love them as football food. Or, anytime food really. The Cajun and I eat them all the time and you can find my collection of recipes by tapping or clicking right here.

Whether you grill, smoke or bake them, they are an excellent addition for any gathering, whether it's a party of many or a party of two. I was really astonished how easy and good they are in the air fryer too!

Here's another one for the wing collection

We eat a lot of chicken around here and wings are an all time favorite cut for me. In fact, as white meat goes, I prefer them over chicken breasts, and the flats section of the wing are my favorite over the drumettes. The Cajun will eat either, so you can bet that I make sure that I pick out the flats I want first!

Deviled Chicken Wings

Deviled Chicken Wings

I love chicken wings! I'm constantly playing around with them, trying different seasonings and different cooking methods - baked, air fried, smoked, grilled, slow cooker, and yes, even in one of those microwave Rangemate grills! {affil link} Each of them provides a little different feel and texture and benefits, but I've yet to run across a wing I didn't like.

Chicken and Butter Beans

Chicken and Butter Beans - smothered chicken cooked in a roux with baby lima beans, pictured here with creamed brussels sprouts.

Chicken and Butter Beans

I have been busier than a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs y'all!! We have the grandkids everyday now after school - which I love, love, love, don't get me wrong. Since our move to be closer to them six months ago, we have seen and spent more time with them from since they were born. It isn't that we were all that far away from them to begin with, but where we did live was off the beaten path and far enough away to be inconvenient for everybody. It does leave me with a small window of time in the mornings to get everything done though, and believe me, it goes by quick! I suppose that some of you moms know exactly what I mean.

Garlic Parmesan Wings

Garlic Parmesan Wings

This recipe for Baked Garlic Parmesan Wings was one that, waaaay back in my low carb days of eating (oh, yes I did), we LCers used to eat a lot.

They were considered addictive, so much so that they were actually known as heroin wings back then. Today, I guess that would be "crack" wings. Yes. I know. I hate that reference to anything food, but it is what it is. That, my friends, was what they were called.

I think I'll stick with Garlic Parmesan Wings.
